Angklung, this Sundanese original musical instrument is one

this musical instrument made of bamboo has been recognized by UNESCO as a
cultural heritage of Indonesia.

History
There is no definite record of when exactly angklung was
created. But history records that in the 12th century, this instrument had
begun to be used, that is, during the Sunda Kingdom.
This instrument is believed to be the caller of Dewi Sri to
provide fertility for agricultural land. Usually, angklung is made of black
bamboo and bamboo ater with various types of sizes that produce different

them is the tone of angklung music by Daeng Sutigna, a resident of Citangtu,
Kuningan who was the first person to create diatonic angklung music tones.

Because Daeng Sutigna also, Kuningan Regency now calls
itself Angklung Regency and has been established since 2010.

Starting from Kanekes angklung played by the Baduy community, Reyog Angklung
played in Ponorogo Banyuwangi Angklung, Bali Angklung, Dogdog Lojor Angklung, Gubrak
Angklung played by the people of Bogor, Badeng Angklung played by the people of
Garut, Buncis Angklung played by the people of Bandung, Padaeng Angklung which
is typical of Kuningan, Toel Angklung, Sri Murni Angklung and Sarinade Angklung
which have a round tone.

How to Play
Angklung
Different from angklung, the distinctive sound is also
different. Likewise with the technique of playing it, driven in a different
way, the tone will be different.
The most widely used technique for playing angklung is
Karulung, which is to shake it to the left and right. The second way is to
check, aka jerk it. And the Tangkep technique, which is similar to Karulung,
